Are there any updates on this topic? It has been 6 months since this issue has been confirmed and still no fix? I just updated to latest version of GMA SDK (10.3.0) and it still FITs the image instead of FILLing it, even though GADMediaView's contentMode is set to .scaleAspectFill.

I've tried your sample app on my end and can confirm the reported behavior. I've also used other mediaAspectRatio (portrait, landscape, any) and didn't see any difference on the ads.
